Prerequisites
System Requirements
- Windows 10/11 64-bit
- An Android emulator — see our Discord for the recommended emulator and download link
- MLB The Show Companion App installed via Google Play Store inside your emulator
App Setup
- Only diamond equipment items are currently supported.
- The bot buys items saved to your favorites under the Equipment tab.
- Tap the heart icon on each diamond equipment item to favorite it.
- Any diamond equipment in your inventory will automatically be listed for sale.
Emulator Settings
Configure the following in your emulator's settings for best compatibility:
Graphics & Display
- Graphics → Vulkan mode
- Display → Tablet mode, 1920×1080, DPI 280 (other resolutions untested)
- Optional: Enable "Dynamically adjust frame rate" (15 Frame) — saves energy when running in background
Device Model
- Model → Preset → Mobile brand: Samsung
- Mobile Model: Galaxy S20 FE
Other Settings
- Window position/size → Remember last setting → Enabled
- Disk sharing → Writable system disk
- Mouse cursor → Use custom cursor → Enabled (optional)
- PC hibernates → Disable hibernation while emulator runs → Enabled
- APK association → Associate APK file → Enabled
ADB Port Check
In your emulator, find the Problem Diagnosis or network info panel and confirm the Adb debug port is 16384. If it differs, update adb_port in config.json.
Core Features
StubBot intelligently manages your MLB The Show market activities for diamond equipment (excluding bats):
- Places buy orders exclusively for your favorited equipment items.
- Automatically reads stub prices and calculates the profit gap to make smart buy order decisions.
- Detects when your buy orders are low and strategically places more.
- Pauses placing bids when your stub balance is depleted.
- Actively revises existing buy and sell orders to stay competitive.
- Checks your inventory for newly acquired cards and places sell orders for each.
- Designed to loop continuously until you manually stop it.
Setup & Configuration
First Launch
- 1Double-click
bot.exeto launch. - 2Create a username and password, then paste your license key to register.
- 3Credentials are saved to
config.jsonfor automatic login on future launches. - 4Press F10 at any time to pause or resume the bot.
Configuration (config.json)
Open config.json with any text editor to adjust bot behaviour:
- console_id — Platform:
PS,XBOX, orSWITCH - stub_price_gap — Max gap between buy/sell price for a flip (default: 550)
- sleep_cycle — Seconds to wait between full loops
- max_buy_orders_per_item — Max concurrent buy orders per item
- adb_port — Emulator ADB port (default: 16384)
Bot Loop Strategy
Starts at your home screen, runs these steps in order, then repeats:
- 1Submit Buy Orders — Scrolls through favorited diamond equipment and places buy orders on each item.
- 2Revise Buy Orders — Reviews existing bids and updates any that are no longer competitive.
- 3Check Inventory — Scans for newly acquired diamond equipment and lists them for sale.
- 4Revise Sell Orders — Reviews existing listings and undercuts the market where needed.
- 5Sleep & Repeat — Waits for the configured sleep duration, then loops back to step 1.
Advanced: Start at a Specific Step
Pass a variable when launching from the command prompt to begin the loop at any step.
Available variables:

Do's & Don'ts
Do 👍
- Update orders manually through the companion app, website, or in-game as you normally would.
- Place your own buy/sell orders manually if desired. The bot will work alongside your actions.
Don't 👎
- Have active buy/sell orders for large quantities of non-equipment items. This can confuse the bot, causing it to reload repeatedly until those orders are cleared.
Known Limitations
- Companion App Stability: The bot's performance can be affected by SDS server stability. If the app is unresponsive, the bot will continuously refresh until it loads properly. Downtimes are common around 3:00 PM Eastern (new card releases) and Fridays at 3:00 PM Eastern (roster updates).
- Sliding Mitts: Currently, sliding mitts cannot be found in inventory by the bot due to their unique inventory slot.
- Bats Ignored: The bot is designed to ignore bat items and will not flip them.
- Occasional Stuck State: Rarely, the bot might get stuck on a buy/sell order page. It's advisable to check on its operation at least once per day.
